About the Role
A boutique law firm working at the intersection of law and finance is seeking a senior corporate attorney to help lead and grow its corporate practice. You will advise entrepreneurial clients and investors while helping shape the practices direction with a 1400-hour annual billable target.
What Youll Do
- Lead venture capital private equity and M&A transactions from inception through closing.
- Serve as a primary advisor to entrepreneurs family offices and institutional investors.
- Help develop the corporate practices structure services and long-term growth strategy.
- Collaborate with colleagues across funds and debt practices on bespoke matters.
- Support and mentor junior attorneys.
What Were Looking For
- 10 to 20 years of corporate transactional experience at mid-sized to large law firms including an early- or mid-career period at a large firm.
- Substantial depth in venture capital private equity or M&A with experience independently leading and closing bespoke transactions.
- A J.D. and admission to a U.S. state bar; New York admission is preferred.
- Strong client service mentoring and practice-building skills; portable client relationships are a plus.
- Limited prior in-house experience generally no more than about one year.
- Consistent career history and experience advising founders family offices or emerging investment managers are valued.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary range: $250000 to $400000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.
Location
Hybrid with two days per week in the London England office.
