Job Opportunity: Alternative Provision Lead - SEN School 📍 Location: Rochdale 📅 Start Date: ASAP 💼 Contract: Temporary to Permanent or Permanent 💷 Salary: £35,000-£45,000 per annum Are you a passionate educator ready to make a real difference? We are seeking a dedicated, resilient and motivated Alternative Provision Lead to join an SEN school in Rochdale, supporting secondary-aged young people who require an alternative to mainstream education. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified teacher with leadership experience and a strong understanding of Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs or Emotional, Social, Behavioural Difficulties (ESBD) to lead a specialist provision and help young people re-engage with education. The provision delivers 12-week intervention programmes for young people who have been excluded from mainstream school. Many of the students have a strong interest in sports, so a candidate with a sporting background or experience using sport to engage young people would be particularly desirable.
