The role:

At Next we have a great opportunity for a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our onsite nursery at the Next Head Office in Leicester Rated OUTSTANDING in all areas by Ofsted. Our setting offers a unique opportunity for a dedicated Early Years professional to drive the highest standards of childcare. Here you will combine a nurturing child-centered philosophy with a high-profile professional infrastructure providing a safe stimulating and inclusive environment where every child and your career can truly thrive. This position is temporary for 12 months.

You will also have the potential to earn a discretionary 10% attendance bonus increasing your earning potential to 14.44 per hour.

This is a full time position working 40 hours per week working between the hours of 8am-6pm Monday- Friday

What youll take on:

• Plan and implement sophisticated age-appropriate activities that challenge and inspire individual development.
• Manage comprehensive Records of Achievement for your allocated children ensuring their milestones are documented with care.
• Act as a professional point of contact for families fostering a collaborative approach to their childs learning journey.
• Work closely with parents of children with SEND to ensure seamless integration and tailored support.
• Maintain a culture of vigilance adhering to strict safeguarding and Health & Safety protocols to ensure a secure environment.
• Oversee the well being of children including nutritional needs hygiene and providing a comforting environment for rest and recovery.

What youll bring:

• A recognised Level 3 Nursery qualification (or working towards it) and a strong command of English.
• Deep practical knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and a proven track record of purposeful planning.
• The ability to liaise confidently with parents carers and senior management while maintaining strict confidentiality.
• An enthusiastic energetic and flexible approach. You should be someone who leads by example and is willing to support the team across all areas of the nursery operation.
