As a Teaching Assistant, you'll be supporting pupils with a variety of special educational needs, helping them feel safe, included and confident in their learning. The schools I work with support pupils with a range of needs, including: Autism (ASC): Supporting communication, social interaction, routines and sensory needs. ADHD: Helping pupils stay focused, manage emotions and engage with learning. SEMH: Supporting children with social, emotional and mental health needs, including emotional regulation and positive behaviour. Speech and Language Needs: Helping pupils develop communication skills and understand instructions.
