Window and Door Installer

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:45pm Pay: Up to £18.00 per hour (negotiable for the right candidate) Overtime: Paid at time and a half -------------------------------------------------------------About the Role: We are recruiting for an experienced Fitter / Joiner to join a well-established and growing business. This is a varied, hands-on role working across both commercial and residential properties, carrying out installations, replacements and repairs. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has a keen eye for detail and is confident attending sites independently to carry out surveys and installations. ---------------------------------------------------------------Key Responsibilities: * Install and replace windows, doors, gates, stairs and frames. * Travel to sites across the UK. * Carry out glass and frame replacements. * Fit, repair and replace fire doors where required. * Attend customer sites independently to carry out surveys, measurements and assessments. * Work across both commercial and residential properties. * Ensure all installations are completed to a high standard. * Identify issues on site and provide practical solutions. * Maintain a professional and friendly approach when dealing with customers. --------------------------------------------------------------------What We're Looking For: * Previous experience fitting windows, doors, gates or stairs. * Experience replacing glass and/or frames. * Fire door installation experience is highly desirable. * Confident carrying out site surveys and taking accurate measurements independently. * Good understanding of fitting techniques and installation standards. * Full UK driving licence is essential. * A focused, motivated and reliable individual. * Friendly, approachable and comfortable dealing directly with customers. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------What's on Offer? * Permanent, full-time employment. * Up to £18.00 per hour, negotiable depending on experience. * Overtime paid at time and a half. * Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:45pm. * Varied work across commercial and residential sites. * Opportunity to join an established business with long-term job security.
