About the Role
You will be responsible for delivering engaging mathematics lessons that make challenging concepts accessible and encourage students to think independently. The successful candidate will create a positive learning environment where pupils are motivated to participate, develop their skills and make consistent progress.
Your responsibilities will include:
Planning and delivering high-quality lessons in line with the mathematics curriculum.
Explaining mathematical concepts clearly and using varied teaching strategies.
Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback.
Adapting lessons to support different abilities and individual learning needs.
Maintaining high standards of behaviour and classroom engagement.
Working with colleagues to share resources and develop effective teaching approaches.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Strong mathematical subject knowledge and a genuine passion for teaching.
Effective classroom management and communication skills.
The ability to motivate pupils and build confidence in mathematical learning.
A commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and continued professional development.
Experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers with the relevant qualifications are encouraged to apply.
