WE’RE HIRING: REGISTERED MANAGER – RESIDENTIAL CHILDREN’S HOME

Location: Penrith
Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum
Bonus: 10% discretionary bonus
Joining Bonus: Up to £5,000

Are you an experienced Registered Manager looking for your next opportunity, or a strong Deputy Manager ready to take the next step in your career?

We’re looking for a passionate, committed and motivated leader to manage a 3-bedded EBD (Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties) residential children’s home, typically supporting up to 3 young people in placement.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people, leading a dedicated team, and creating a safe, stable and nurturing home.

What’s on Offer?

  • Salary of up to £60,000 per annum

  • 10% discretionary bonus, with quarterly bonus considerations linked to occupancy and Ofsted rating

  • Joining bonus of up to £5,000, dependent on the candidate’s experience and suitability, paid in 3 instalments

  • Opportunity to lead a 3-bedded residential EBD home

  • Career development opportunity for an ambitious Deputy Manager ready to step up

Who Are We Looking For?

  • Experienced Registered Managers with a background in residential childcare

  • Ambitious Deputy Managers ready to step up into a Registered Manager role

  • Candidates with strong leadership skills and a passion for safeguarding and improving outcomes for young people

Essential / Desirable Qualifications:

  • Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare or an equivalent relevant qualification

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare is highly desirable

The Right Person Will Be:

  • Passionate about supporting children and young people with EBD needs

  • Confident in leading, motivating and developing a team

  • Committed to safeguarding, compliance and high-quality care

  • Focused on maintaining strong Ofsted standards and achieving positive outcomes for young people
