Our client is a fast-growing M&E consultancy, founded by experienced industry engineers who still lead the work themselves. They're building their team and need a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design and shape how the office grows. It's a real chance to get in early at a firm where your voice counts. What you'll do Lead electrical design across RIBA stages: LV distribution, small power, lighting, emergency lighting, fire alarm, security and containment Produce and check calculations, specifications, schematics and tender packages Bring electrical expertise to low carbon and net zero strategies, including PV, battery storage and EV charging Coordinate with mechanical engineers, architects and design teams in a BIM environment Attend client and design team meetings, carry out site inspections and witness testing Mentor junior engineers and review their work What you'll need Degree or HNC/HND in Electrical or Building Services Engineering Strong consultancy design experience at senior level Solid knowledge of BS 7671, BS 5839, BS 5266 and CIBSE guidance Amtech, DIALux/Relux and AutoCAD; Revit MEP is a strong plus Confident running projects and client relationships IEng/CEng, or working towards it, desirable What's on offer Competitive salary based on experience Pension, holiday, bonus Direct access to the directors and real influence on the business Support towards chartership Clear progression as the office grows
