Crewe , with applications welcomed from drivers living in
Stoke-on-Trent and surrounding areas . Please note: The actual working location is Crewe, and all drivers must be able to travel to Crewe for their allocated shifts. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, Monday to Friday working, ongoing assignments, weekly pay, paid breaks, immediate starts and genuine long-term opportunities with a leading logistics business. £19.06 Days | £20.06 Nights | 1.5x Overtime on Sixth Shift £28.59 | Paid Breaks | Monday to Friday | Weekly Pay | Immediate Starts This position would suit applicants who have previously worked as an HGV Class 1 Driver, LGV Class 1 Driver, Category C+E Driver, Articulated Lorry Driver or Trunking Driver. Shifts • Monday to Friday • Day shift start times available between 7:00am and 4:00pm • Night shift start times available between 10:00pm and 4:00am • Flexible start times available, with fixed start times accommodated where possible, provided they fall within the agreed shift windows • Overtime opportunities available on a sixth shift Rates of Pay • £19.06 per hour – Days • £20.06 per hour – Nights • Overtime paid at 1.5x on the sixth shift • Weekly pay • Paid breaks Benefits As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will receive: • Excellent hourly rates of pay • Weekly pay • Ongoing work • Overtime opportunities • Site canteen • Immediate starts available • Employee wellbeing programme • Driver assessment and paid induction • Paid breaks • Industry-related training and ongoing support Day-to-Day Duties • Completing depot-to-depot trunking deliveries with occasional store deliveries across the North West • Operating Category C+E vehicles safely and efficiently • Carrying out pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections • Ensuring all loads are secure and compliant with transport regulations • Adhering to all road traffic legislation and company procedures • Communicating effectively with the transport office and customers • Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance requirements promptly • Assisting with loading and unloading when required Essential Skills • Valid UK Category C+E (Class 1) Driving Licence • Valid Driver CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card • No more than six penalty points for minor offences • No DR10, DG10, IN10 or TT99 endorsement codes • Good spoken and written English • Excellent punctuality and timekeeping • Good understanding of UK road traffic legislation • Strong communication skills • Ability to travel to the Crewe depot for allocated shift start times Training Provided • Driver assessment required prior to starting • One-day paid induction following a successful assessment • Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment Apply If you are an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver living in Stoke-on-Trent or the surrounding areas and can reliably travel to
