About the Business A fantastic opportunity to join a growing logistics business based in Coventry as a Finance Manager, paying £45,000 – £55,000 per annum with hybrid working. Reporting directly to the Directors, you'll have real ownership of the whole finance function, from the monthly numbers through to cash planning and commercial insight. As the business continues to expand, this is a visible, influential role with genuine scope to shape how finance supports the next stage of growth. Main Duties: As a Finance Manager, your main duties include: * Running the finance function day to day, acting as the go-to person for all things finance across the business * Producing monthly management accounts covering the P&L, balance sheet and cash position, ensuring the Directors receive accurate figures on time * Preparing regular performance reports and analysis for the Directors, turning the numbers into clear, practical insight that informs decisions * Building and maintaining budgets, forecasts and longer-range projections, tracking results against plan and recommending action where performance drifts * Owning cash and working capital management, preparing cash forecasts and flagging early when additional funding may be needed * Keeping a close eye on debtor and creditor balances, making sure collections and supplier payments are well managed * Overseeing purchase ledger, sales ledger and ...
