Materials Trading Commercial Manager (Recycling) Home-based Attractive Salary plus Bonus and Company Car or Car Allowance Our client is one of the UK’s leading waste and resource management companies, with over 200 facilities and around 4,500 employees across the UK. As a Materials Trading Commercial Manager, you will work within the Materials Trading team and be responsible for managing materials offtake and trading across the business within the UK. You will play a key role in developing and negotiating new and existing offtaker contracts, helping to maximise value when selling and/or disposing of recyclable materials. You will also support bidding opportunities, provide commercial insight, manage key contract documentation and lead the Materials Trading team. This vacancy is for a full-time position and will require travel throughout the UK. Key Duties: * Managing materials offtake and trading activity across the business * Developing, negotiating and managing new and existing offtaker contracts * Supporting bidding opportunities by providing up-to-date pricing, market knowledge and offtaker information * Working closely with operational teams to support budgetary targets and improve material value * Preparing and presenting contract documentation, approval papers and project proposals * Drafting service level agreements for new offtaker contracts, working with the legal team where required...
