GRP Composite Technician

Salary: From £13.50 per hour Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Hours: Minimum 40 hours per week Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts Benefits: On-site parking A well-established, family-run manufacturing business is seeking an experienced GRP COmposite Technician o join its growing team. Fibreglass Lamination experience is preferred but they are open to training the right candidate with a good attitude and has worked with hand and power tools. Duties and Responsibilities of GRP Composite Technician General labouring duties including trimming, lifting and splicing Mould preparation Release of simple moulds Use of hand tools Use of handheld power tools such as grinders and sanders Bond preparation Basic housekeeping duties Correct use of PPE Taking responsibility and accountability for your own work The Ideal Candidate for a GRP Composite Technician The successful applicant will ideally have at least one year's experience working with resins and fibreglass; however, this is preferred rather than essential. Applications are also welcomed from individuals who are keen to learn and develop these skills through training.
