Site Manager - Primary School Location: Swadlincote, Derbyshire Hours: Full-time Contract: Permanent, subject to appointment terms Salary: Dependent on experience About the Role We are seeking a reliable, practical and proactive Site Manager to join our primary school team in Swadlincote. The successful candidate will take pride in maintaining a safe, secure, clean and welcoming school environment for pupils, staff, parents and visitors. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management, maintenance and security of the school premises, ensuring that buildings, grounds and facilities are kept in excellent condition and comply with relevant health and safety requirements. Key Responsibilities Open and close the school premises, ensuring the site is secure at all times. Carry out routine maintenance, repairs and general DIY tasks. Undertake regular site inspections and identify maintenance issues, hazards and required improvements. Ensure the school complies with health and safety, fire safety and security procedures. Monitor heating, lighting, ventilation and other site services. Maintain the school grounds, outdoor areas, pathways and play areas.
