The Role\n
\nAs a Pupil Support Assistant, you'll play an important role in helping pupils feel safe, included and ready to learn.\n
\nYour responsibilities may include:\n
\n

\n
• Providing individual support to pupils who need additional help
\n
• Supporting small groups with classroom activities and learning tasks
\n
• Helping pupils develop confidence, independence and social skills
\n
• Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement in lessons
\n
• Supporting children with additional learning or emotional needs
\n
• Helping pupils follow classroom routines and expectations
\n
• Working alongside teachers to create a positive learning environment
\n
• Encouraging participation in school activities and everyday learning
\n
• Providing reassurance, encouragement and a consistent approach
\n

You'll have the opportunity to work across a range of school settings, with placements suited to your experience, skills and preferences wherever possible.\n
