Class 1 or Class 2 Driver

We are looking for a full-time Class 1 or Class 2 driver to join our busy plant hire depot at Luton, driving the depot's HI-AB Lorry and other HGV Vehicles as required. * Delivering and collecting various items of plant and tool equipment to and from site as required. * Loading and unloading equipment safely on site * Handover machines to customers and familiarise customers with machine operation * Carry out daily checks on vehicle and ancillary equipment * Comply with legislation regarding vehicle safety, tachographs operation and working time * Accurately complete all relevant paperwork. * Hold a Class 1 or Class 2 HGV Licence (Class 1 licence is preferable but not essential) * Preferably hold a current HI-AB qualification * Be able to load and unload machinery on and off vehicles. * Ideally have had experience in working in the plant hire industry. * Hold a full CPC card and drivers Digital Tachograph Card. * Be able to interact well with customers and other members of staff. * Be able to work individually and as part of a team. * Have an understanding of vehicle safety. * 20 days annual leave per year plus bank holidays. * Option to join the company's work place pension scheme. * Company pension * On-site parking - Working hours Monday – Friday 7am – 4.30pm with half hour for lunch. - Daytime hours only no nights out or weekend work. - Pay from £16.50 per hour depending on experience up to 40 hours with overtime times hourly rate. - To apply or for further information please contact Phillip or Jamie on 01582 566471 or send a CV to the email address provided.
