About the Role
Working closely with the Headteacher and senior leadership team, you will take responsibility for a range of operational and financial functions.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing budgets, expenditure, financial forecasting and financial reporting.
Overseeing procurement, contracts and relationships with external suppliers.
Supporting HR administration, recruitment processes and staff compliance.
Coordinating premises, facilities management and health and safety procedures.
Reviewing administrative systems and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Preparing reports and providing operational advice to senior leaders and governors.
The Ideal Candidate
Previous experience in school business management or a similar operational management role.
Strong knowledge of school finance, budgeting and resource management.
Experience with HR, procurement, premises or compliance processes.
Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills.
The ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively with senior stakeholders.
An enhanced DBS check will be required in line with the role.
