The Opportunity\n

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Interim Finance Business Partner to support a large, established organisation based in Leicester.

\n

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional to join a busy finance function, working closely with stakeholders across the business to support financial performance, cost management and strategic decision-making.

\n

The role will involve analysing expenditure, supporting budgets and forecasts, challenging financial performance and providing insight to help the business make informed commercial decisions.

Key Responsibilities\n

  Partner with stakeholders across the business to provide financial insight and commercial support.

\n
• \n

  Monitor expenditure, investigate variances and identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency.

\n
• \n

  Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.

\n
• \n

  Produce financial analysis, management information and reporting for senior stakeholders.

\n
• \n

  Develop financial models and business cases to support investment decisions.

\n
• \n

  Review costs associated with business operations, systems and ongoing projects.

\n
• \n

  Challenge assumptions and provide recommendations to improve financial performance.

\n
• \n

  Support wider commercial initiatives and ad hoc projects.

\n
• \n

  Build strong relationships with finance and non-finance stakeholders.

\n

About You\n

We are looking for someone with:

\n

\n
• \n

  Proven experience in a Finance Business Partner, Commercial Finance, FP&A or Management Accounting role.

\n
• \n

  Strong analytical, financial modelling and problem-solving skills.

\n
• \n

  Experience with budgeting, forecasting and cost management.

\n
• \n

  The confidence to challenge stakeholders and influence commercial decisions.

\n
• \n

  Excellent communication skills and the ability to present financial information clearly.

\n
• \n

  A proactive approach, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

\n

\n

Experience supporting technology-related expenditure, systems investment or complex operational costs would be advantageous.
