Health And Safety Consultant

Location: Home-based, with regular travel to client sites. Reporting to: Operations Manager Hours: Full-time Role purpose PHSC’s Safety Division is looking for a practical, knowledgeable and client-focused Health and Safety Consultant to join our established consultancy team. The role will be employed by PHSC Ltd and will mainly deliver services to its clients. It will also involve working with colleagues and supporting clients across other businesses in the Safety Division where appropriate, reflecting our connected approach across the team. This is a varied role providing health and safety advice, competent person support, audits, inspections and other compliance services across a broad range of sectors. You will become a trusted extension of our clients’ teams, helping them understand their responsibilities and put proportionate, workable solutions in place. As part of PHSC plc, our consultants can also draw on wider Group expertise, including occupational hygiene, food safety, leisure safety, management systems and statutory inspection. Training forms part of the service we provide, but this is not a dedicated trainer role. Previous training experience would be an advantage, and support will be provided to develop this capability where required.
