Strengths Based Support Coach

Do you want to make a real difference to people's lives? Do you have experience of supporting vulnerable adults? If so, we would love to hear from you. We have an exciting opportunity for a Strengths Based Support Coach in our Homeless Provision based at our Leicester Street, Southport. The role is shift based, working 8am till 8pm with a 3 on 3 off rota, 40.25 hours per week.

New Start is a family-run, not-for-profit organisation, we deliver a diverse range of homelessness projects and temporary housing solutions across Merseyside. We aim to enhance lives by offering good quality accommodation with structured support.

The Role

You will be part of a team that delivers a strengths-based service, allowing each person who accesses the project to thrive and develop, gain greater independence, and succeed to a more permanent housing solution.

As a Support Coach, you will develop a Person-Centred Support Plan focussing on the strengths of the individual, boosting their confidence as they rebuild their lives.

You will link in with partnership agencies to overcome barriers to a more permanent housing solution, creating a structured resettlement plan that they will work towards.

You'll need to keep records of everything, experience of support planning, incident management and case records is essential.
