The Role\n
\nAs a Primary Support Assistant, you may be supporting children by:\n
\n

\n
• Assisting teachers with everyday classroom activities
\n
• Supporting literacy, numeracy and early learning
\n
• Working with individual pupils and small groups
\n
• Helping children follow classroom routines
\n
• Encouraging positive behaviour and participation
\n
• Supporting pupils who need additional help with learning
\n
• Developing children's confidence, independence and social skills
\n
• Preparing classroom resources and learning activities
\n
• Helping maintain a safe, positive and inclusive environment
\n

You'll play an important part in helping children feel settled, supported and ready to learn, while working alongside teachers and other school staff.\n
