ASSISTANT SENCO

Assistant SENCO – This is more than a job it is a commitment to make a difference in an SEN School that puts the children and young adults they support first. This wonderful setting has been curated to create a safe and welcoming space for SEN students to learn, develop key communication skills, build confidence, and get ready for life after school.

As an Assistant SENCO, you will work closely with the amazing SENCO and will support on: -

• Behaviour, welfare and attendance working with staff, parents and third party agencies.
• The creation of a welcoming learning environment where students and staff feel part of something special.
• Help develop a classroom culture that builds confidence and engagement.
• Underpinning, and driving safeguarding and policy across school,
• Creating ideas on positive processes to include managing behaviour, and well-being.
• Working as part of the support team to achieve positive outcomes.

You will be: -

• A qualified HLTA or Assistant SENCO.
• Able to work is support of safeguarding across school.
• Totally committed to the future prospects of the children and young adults you support.
• Used to working with policy to include managing complex data.
• You will bring a smile to this role and be part of something amazing.
