Job description
Are you looking for guaranteed work up to Xmas !
Premier Placement Services are currently recruiting experienced and reliable HGV Drivers for a 6 - week fixed term contract working on behalf of our client in Rochdale.
Pay & Working Hours
- Pay Rate: £17.50 ph plus holiday pay (Equivalent to £19.68 ph)
- Shift Pattern: Day Shifts
- Start times: 3am - 7 am
- Guaranteed Hours: 12 Hours per day.
- Contract Length: 6 weeks
Your duties will include:
- Driving an HGV safely and responsibly.
- Completing vehicle safety checks before and after journeys.
- Ensuring compliance with drivers',tachograph regulations and road traffic legislation
- Completing all required paperwork and reporting any vehicle defects
- Maintaining a professional and reliable approach at all times
- Deliver and unload goods with some handball at all times
You will require
- A current HGV class 1 Licence along with a valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
- At least 2 years driving experience.
- A strong commitment to safety , reliability and professionalism.
- No IN, DD, DR endorsements on licence
