Electrician (Responsive Repairs) - Prefer being out helping customers rather than stuck on site?

Salary 42,800 + £6800 in Holiday pay ( if previously self employed)

We're working with a social housing provider looking for an Electrician to join their responsive repairs team.

You'll spend most of your time in occupied properties, carrying out day-to-day repairs, fault finding, inspection and testing, and helping residents get their homes back to a safe, working condition as quickly as possible.

The role:

• Responsive electrical repairs across occupied homes
• Fault finding and diagnosing electrical issues
• Consumer unit replacements and remedial works
• Inspection, testing and certification
• Emergency and urgent repairs
• Maintaining high standards of health and safety
• Delivering excellent customer service in residents' homes
• Participating in the out-of-hours call-out rota

What they're looking for:

• Qualified Electrician with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
• City & Guilds 2391 (or equivalent Inspection & Testing qualification)
• Strong knowledge of current BS7671 regulations
• Experience working within domestic properties
• AM2 or AM2e
• Someone comfortable working independently and making decisions on site
• A personable, customer-focused approach
