Job Title: Warehouse FLT Driver (Night shift)

Location: Stoke on Trent

Salary: £14.95 to £15.60 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday - 20:30pm to 06:00am

We're looking for a reliable and experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join our night shift team at our Stoke-on-Trent site.

Key Skills and Qualifications to succeed in this role:

• Applicants must have worked in a busy logistics/warehouse environment before and have previous loading/unloading vehicles and experience of operating Counterbalance Forklift truck.
• Counterbalance Forklift Truck Driving licence is essential
• Previous experience in loading international groupage trailers would be an advantage
• Order pick and stock count
• Basic numeracy, literacy and computer skills
• Ability to function well as part of a team
• Diligent attention to detail and attention to safety
• Ability to work under pressure and have initiative to solve problems
• Punctual, reliable and professional

Compensation:

18:00 to 22:00 - £14.95 per hour

22:00 to 06:00 - £15.60 per hour

Key duties & Responsibilities:

• The role will entail the efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of all customers' goods to ensure they are received and dispatched appropriately and productivity to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Unloading and loading cargo to and from warehouse and vehicles by using a forklift truck, pallet truck VNA MHE or by hand.
• Loading international groupage trailers in accordance with loading plans Pick and pack orders to ensure they are delivered on time and in full.
• Wrap and unwrap of goods.
• Stock management
• Check loads for damaged or missing items upon receipt
• Keep careful records of everything that comes in and goes out of the warehouse
• Daily housekeeping within the Warehouse and site.
