Role: Purchase Ledger Location: Wakefield, West Yorkshire Salary: Up to £34,000 depending on experience Job Type: Permanent, full-time About the Role An established business in Wakefield is looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join its finance team. You'll play an important role in the day-to-day running of the finance function, working closely with the senior finance team and colleagues across the business. Key Responsibilities • Process supplier invoices accurately and efficiently. • Manage supplier accounts, payment runs and credit notes. • Reconcile supplier statements and investigate discrepancies. • Deal with supplier queries and resolve invoice and payment issues. • Ensure suppliers are paid accurately and on time. • Maintain accurate financial records. • Support month-end processes, including accruals and outstanding invoices. • Work with colleagues across the business to resolve queries. • Support the wider finance team and identify opportunities to improve processes.
