HGV Class 1 Driver

Many of our team members have been with us for years, and we're now looking for our next driver to join the team. * Permanent position with allocated truck * Clean, straightforward work including contract and general haulage, curtainsiders and box trailers. * Option for day work – home every night * Option for tramping (1–4 nights per week) * All nights out booked through SNAP – no lay-bys * Excellent driving skills * Good knowledge of EU rules on driver hours and WTD. * Good communication and customer service skills * Valid Driver CPC and CE cat. * Reliability and professionalism * Flexibility and a positive attitude * Monthly pay (27th of each month) * Basic salary: £34,071.71 per year * Top earners last tax year earned over £44,000 (excluding night-out payments) * Quarterly bonus schemes * Annual bonus for 12 months' service subject to performance, paid before Christmas (pro rata'd to start date - £1,250 in 2025) * Secure on-site parking at Middleton * Uniform and PPE provided * Night-out allowance of £25 tax-free per night, paid weekly plus expenses * All parking costs paid by SWTL * Fleet well-maintained with R&M contracts in place * Pension scheme * Overtime opportunities available * Enhanced weekend overtime rates * Free ongoing Driver CPC training JBRP1_UKTJ
