Pay Rates PAYE (Accrued Holiday) * Monday to Sunday: £17.50 per hour PAYE (Rolled-Up Holiday Pay) * Monday to Sunday: £19.61 per hour Drivers can choose whether to receive accrued holiday pay or rolled-up holiday pay as part of their hourly rate. The Role As a HGV Class 1 Night Driver, you will be completing multi-drop deliveries of chilled products to a variety of customers, including retailers, schools, hospitality venues and commercial premises throughout the region. Typical duties include: * Multi-drop deliveries of chilled goods * Completing daily vehicle defect checks * Loading and unloading deliveries where required * Safely securing and transporting goods * Completing delivery paperwork and POD documentation * Ensuring deliveries are made on time and to customer requirements * Complying with Driver Hours and Working Time Regulations * Maintaining excellent standards of professionalism and road safety This HGV Class 1 Night Driver role involves working within a busy logistics and distribution environment where reliability, attention to detail and customer service are essential.
