Weighbridge Operator

Personnel Solutions are recruiting for a Weighbridge Operator to join a busy recycling and waste management facility in Blackpool.

This Weighbridge Operator position involves managing vehicle movements, maintaining accurate records and providing administrative support within a busy recycling environment.

Duties

• Operating the weighbridge system and recording vehicle weights.

• Monitoring vehicles entering and leaving the site.

• Maintaining accurate tonnage records and documentation.

• Answering telephone calls and handling general administration.

• Conducting visitor inductions and checking PPE requirements.

• Ensuring site health and safety procedures are followed.

• Providing excellent customer service to drivers and visitors.

Requirements

• Good administration and IT skills.

• Strong communication and organisational skills.

• Excellent attention to detail.

• Customer service experience.

• Ability to follow health and safety procedures.

• Previous weighbridge experience beneficial.
