Agency Chef - Education Sector (Monday to Friday) Agency Chef Required - Schools & Education Catering Are you a passionate and reliable Chef looking for a better work-life balance? We are currently recruiting experienced Agency Chefs to work across schools, academies, colleges, and other education settings. Location: Various sites Hours: Monday to Friday, daytime shifts Pay Rate: Competitive hourly rates Start Date: Immediate starts available The Role As an Agency Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and serving nutritious, high-quality meals for students and staff while maintaining excellent food hygiene and safety standards. Key Responsibilities * Preparing and cooking fresh meals to agreed menus and dietary requirements * Maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation * Ensuring compliance with food hygiene and health & safety regulations * Managing stock and assisting with kitchen organisation * Supporting catering teams during busy service periods * Maintaining a clean and safe working environment Requirements * Previous experience as a Chef within schools, care, hospitality, or contract catering * Valid Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 minimum preferred) * Enhanced DBS Certificate (or willingness to obtain one) * Excellent time management and organisational skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Reliable transportation is advantageous What We Offer ?
