Head of Mathematics Opportunity – High-Achieving SecondaryAcademy in Reading

A high-achieving secondary academy in Reading is seeking an ambitious Head of Mathematics to lead its STEM faculty on a full-time, permanent basis starting in January. Job Overview Mathematics occupies a central role in this academy’s academic strategy. The successful applicant will take strategic responsibility for numerical fluency, problem-solving frameworks, and exam results across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 (GCSE Higher/Foundation), and Key Stage 5 (A-Level Mathematics and Further Maths). Working closely with senior leadership, you will lead a dedicated team of math specialists, refine schemes of work, and run targeted intervention programs. This is a full-time, permanent contract.
