Bridgwater About The Company: The Company is an established independent company who specialise in mobile servicing and repairs on light commercial vehicles for the fleet industry. They are looking for an experienced vehicle technician / mechanic to join their team covering Bridgwater and surrounding areas. It's a Monday to Friday position with
NO WEEKENDS , your working day starts and finishes at
home - no commuting to company base
. Each day you'll get a pre-planned diary of work and
travel to customer site locations to carry out routine servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs (N
o breakdowns or
roadside work). This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking for a change from the normal workshop environment.
** Immediate start available ** Benefits No weekends Start and finish your day at home - no commuting to company base 23 days annual leave rising to 25 days with service + bank holidays Pension Scheme Company van, PPE and all necessary tools and equipment will be provided Responsibilities Travel to customer site locations to carry out routine servicing, maintenance and repairs on both cars and LCV's Diagnose and repair faults using diagnostic equipment ·
Ensure all work is completed to a high professional industry standard. Work in a safe, clean and responsible manner Knowledge, Skills & Experience NVQ level 2 or 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent) Experience in carrying out diagnostic repairs and fault finding Strong organisation skills Self-motivated, able to work alone and manage your own time Flexible and adaptable Excellent communication and customer service skills Full UK driving license For insurance purposes all candidates must be 24 or above Please note: This role is subject to a satisfactory Basic DBS check.
