Machine Learning Engineer

I'm partnering with a newly launched data and analytics startup, backed by a major financial services firm, to hire its first Machine Learning Data Pipeline Engineer.

This is a ground-up build. You'll design and own the pipelines that bring pricing and market data in from multiple sources, including the parent exchange, and turn it into the data layer that powers a new pricing and analytics product. You'll report directly to the CTO and work closely with the Product Engineer who builds on top of your data.

What you'll do

• Build data pipelines from scratch, ingesting pricing and market data from internal and external sources
• Design the data layer that feeds the pricing and analytics engine
• Work AI-first, using modern tooling to move fast
• Shape the technical foundations of the product from day one

What we're looking for

• A strong degree in Computer Science, Data Science, ML/AI, Maths, Statistics or a similar discipline
• A real interest in machine learning and emerging tech
• Startup experience, or a clear appetite to build rather than maintain
• An interest in financial markets or market data is a plus, but not essential

Startup pace and ownership, with the stability and data access of a global exchange behind it. You'll have real influence over how the product is built.
