Looking for a Technician role that takes you out of the traditional workshop environment while giving you the support and training to keep developing your skills
This could be a great opportunity to join an established automotive business as a Mobile Vehicle Technician covering the Dundee area and starting and finishing from home.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Youll receive a basic salary of40000-50000 depending on your qualifications and experience plus performance-related bonus potential.
Youll work across a range of customer locations rather than being based in a traditional workshop with flexible working options available within a 24/7 operation.
The business is also investing in the future of its technicians with training toIMI Level 3 in Electric Vehicle Maintenance and Repairduring your first 12 months.

THE ROLE
- Carry out servicing maintenance and repairs at customer locations
- Complete mechanical diagnostic work and identify faults effectively
- Provide high standards of technical advice service and maintenance
- Travel to a range of locations across the Dundee area
- Work independently while maintaining professional standards
- Deliver a positive customer experience at every visit
WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR
Youll need:
- Previous experience as an Automotive Vehicle Technician
- An NVQ Level 2 or 3 City & Guilds or equivalent qualification
- At least one year of relevant post-qualification experience
- Experience carrying out mechanical diagnostics servicing and repairs
- A full valid UK driving licence
- The flexibility to travel to different customer locations
It would be great if you also have:
- Main dealership experience
- Experience in a mobile or field-based technical role
- Experience working across a range of vehicles
- Additional automotive qualifications
