Health & Safety Officer Newry / Warrenpoint Area | Up to £35,000 DOE | Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm | Occasional ROI Travel We are recruiting for a hands-on Health & Safety Officer to join a growing construction and engineering business. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being on-site, engaging with operational teams, and driving high safety standards across multiple projects. The Role Carry out site inspections, audits and compliance reviews. Support incident investigations and corrective actions. Review RAMS and safe systems of work. Provide practical H&S guidance to site teams. Promote a positive safety culture across the business. Support ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems. Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation and company procedures. About You NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent). Minimum 2 years' Health & Safety experience within construction, engineering, manufacturing, or a similar environment. Strong on-site Health & Safety experience is essential. Good understanding of H&S legislation and compliance requirements. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel. What's on Offer? Salary up to £35,000 depending on experience.
