XRC Engineering is looking for an experienced 5-Axis CNC Programmer / Machinist.
We are a precision engineering company specialising in high-quality CNC machining, producing complex components for a range of demanding applications, including robotics, defence and advanced engineering.
We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has a strong understanding of complex machining strategies and can confidently take components from CAD models through to finished parts.

XRC Engineering is looking for an experienced 5-Axis CNC Programmer / Machinist.
We are a precision engineering company specialising in high-quality CNC machining, producing complex components for a range of demanding applications, including robotics, defence and advanced engineering.
We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has a strong understanding of complex machining strategies and can confidently take components from CAD models through to finished parts.
- Minimum 8 years' experience in CNC programming and machining.
- Highly proficient in Autodesk Fusion 360 CAM, particularly simultaneous 5-axis programming.
- Experience with Haas CNC machines, including their operation, setup and controls.
- Strong understanding of 3+2 and simultaneous 5-axis machining strategies.
- Ability to programme, set up and optimise machining processes independently.
- Experience machining complex, high-precision components across a range of materials.
- Confident reading engineering drawings, interpreting GD&T and working to tight tolerances.
- Good understanding of tooling, workholding, cutting strategies and cycle-time optimisation.
- A proactive, problem-solving attitude with a strong focus on quality.
