We are delighted to be exclusively assisting a new entrant US Firm to the London market who are ranked in various categories in the Legal Directories and who can be best described as a "strong mid-tier brand". They are looking to replicate that success in London and most attractive to them at present are contentious Partners who are currently in private practice in other well-regarded Firms. This is a collegiate organisation where Partners work closely across departments and also between the US and the UK. Our contact is the current head of Commercial Litigation and has been tasked with growth of the London office. Incoming Partners will need some clients and / or referrer contacts of their own and will be relatively confident about hitting the ground running within their first 12 months. In exchange they will become instrumental in shaping the growth and forward direction of this fledgling office that has the full-backing and funding of it's transatlantic sister office. The ideal candidates would need a strong pedigree gained at a leading domestic or international Firm, and will have a robust dispute-led practice be it in General Commercial Litigation, Arbitration, Fraud/Investigations work, Sanctions, IP Litigation, Finance Litigation, Corporate-led Employment Litigation, Construction/Projects Litigation & Arbitration and so forth. They would also consider top quality Senior Associates, Counsel, Legal Directors who likewise would need to be confident about their ability to port work with them.
