Summary

• This is a 1-month contract position at a school, offering an umbrella pay rate of £16 per hour. The role requires working 21.25 hours per week, from 4 PM to 8:15 PM. The primary responsibility is to deliver a top-notch cleaning service, ensuring the school remains clean, safe, and hygienic for students, staff, and visitors. An enhanced DBS check with a barred list and a valid driving license are mandatory for this role.
  

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning tasks throughout the school premises.
  
• Vacuum carpets and floor areas.
  
• Mop hard floors to ensure cleanliness and safety.
  
• Clean and sanitize toilets, washrooms, and related facilities.
  
• Wipe and disinfect surfaces, fixtures, and touchpoints.
  
• Empty internal bins and manage waste disposal appropriately.
  

Requirements:

• Previous cleaning experience in a school, office, commercial, or public sector setting is preferred.
  
• Proven ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  
• Capability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently.
  
• Understanding of safe cleaning practices and procedures.
  
• Enhanced DBS check is mandatory.
  
• Full UK driving license is required.
