Job Description
We are recruiting for a Quality Coordinator to join a busy manufacturing business in York. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Administrator with strong IT skills, excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to their work.\n
\n
\n You don't necessarily need a background in quality, we are looking for someone with a strong administrative background who enjoys working with information, keeping systems organised and getting involved in different areas of a business.\n
\n
\n Working closely with the Quality Manager, you'll play an important role in maintaining accurate records, managing documentation, supporting investigations and ensuring quality processes run smoothly.\n
\n
\n This is a varied role combining computer-based administration with opportunities to get out into the factory, speak with different teams and investigate issues firsthand.\n
\n
\n Some of the Quality Coordinator duties will include:\n
\n
\n
- \n
- Providing day-to-day administrative support to the Quality Manager and wider team. \n
- Organising, updating and improving electronic filing systems and quality documentation. \n
- Typing up reports, entering information and maintaining accurate records across various systems. \n
- Supporting customer complaint investigations, gathering information and helping identify what went wrong. \n
- Liaising with colleagues across the factory and wider business to obtain information and resolve queries. \n
- Assisting with internal audits, recording findings and following up on actions. \n
- Maintaining supplier information, documentation and approval records. \n
- Supporting product traceability checks and keeping accurate records of ingredients and materials. \n
- Updating employee training records and assisting with training administration. \n
- Supporting general quality checks and ensuring paperwork is completed and filed correctly. \n
We would love to hear from people with the following skills and experience:\n
\n
\n
- \n
- Strong administration experience, with a proven track record of longevity in previous roles. \n
- Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office, accurate data entry and fast, confident typing. \n
- Experience managing electronic filing systems, documentation or detailed records. \n
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to understand and organise complex information. \n
- Confident communication skills, with the ability to work with people at all levels. \n
- A proactive approach, using your own initiative to investigate issues and find information. \n
Previous experience in quality administration, document control or manufacturing would be beneficial, but strong administrative skills, a willingness to learn and the right attitude are the most important things.\n
\n
\n This is working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 8am to 4:30pm, with a 30-minute lunch break, and Fridays 8am to 1:30pm, giving you an early finish to start your weekend, earning £29,000.\n
\n
\n If you're an experienced Administrator looking for an opportunity to develop your skills, take on more responsibility and enjoy a varied role within a manufacturing environment, we'd love to hear from you.
