Pub General Manager

We're not looking for someone to rescue a struggling pub. We're looking for someone to make a successful one even better.

The Red Lion is a well-known Amblecote community pub with a loyal following, a lively late-night atmosphere and plenty of potential for its next chapter. We're looking for an ambitious General Manager to build on what already works, grow our food offer, bring fresh ideas to events and help drive the business forward.

· Lead the day-to-day running and overall performance of a busy, wet-led community pub.

· Own the P&L and manage sales, stock, labour, margins and profitability.

· Develop the food offer, events and promotions to grow sales and attract customers.

· Recruit, lead and develop a team of around 12, supported by an Assistant Manager.

· Maintain high standards of service, cleanliness, compliance and customer experience.

· Bring ideas and take an active role in shaping the pub's future, including a planned refurbishment.

· Hold a Personal Licence and act as the Designated Premises Supervisor (DPS).
