Calibration Engineer

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:30pm Salary:

Up to £17.00 per hour, depending on experience About the Role:

We are recruiting for a Calibration Engineer to join a well-established and growing engineering business. This is a hands-on role involving the calibration, testing and inspection of measuring equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards. We're looking for someone with a good technical understanding, excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to their work. ---------------------------------------------------------

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out calibration, testing and inspection of measuring instruments and equipment. Identify and report equipment faults, inaccuracies or defects. Ensure equipment meets required accuracy and quality standards. Record calibration results and maintain accurate documentation. Work with a range of measuring instruments and technical equipment. Follow calibration procedures and health and safety guidelines. Support the maintenance and improvement of calibration processes. -------------------------------------------------------------

What We're Looking For:

Previous experience in calibration, engineering, inspection or a similar technical role. Good understanding of measuring equipment and calibration procedures. Ability to read and understand technical specifications. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good problem-solving skills and a practical approach.
