Job Title: Tekla Draughtsman Location: Derby Duration: Permanent Salary: £35,000+ per annum (DOE) We are seeking an experienced Tekla Draughtsman to join our established Drawing Office. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled structural steelwork professional to become part of a busy and growing team, working on a diverse range of projects from initial modelling through to fabrication and site installation. You will be responsible for producing accurate 3D models and detailed manufacturing drawings to support the successful delivery of structural steelwork projects. Key Responsibilities: * Produce take-offs and build estimating models from project information. * Create and develop structural steelwork models using Tekla Structures in accordance with engineering and architectural drawings, reference models and connection calculations. * Generate accurate General Arrangement (GA) drawings. * Prepare detailed fabrication drawings in line with company standards and project requirements. * Raise and support Technical Queries (TQs) where required. * Ensure all models and drawings are accurate, coordinated and delivered in line with project programmes and deadlines. * Liaise effectively with the engineering, workshop and installation teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
