Key Responsibilities Oversee pre-set lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 during planned and unplanned teacher absences. Maintain high standards of classroom control and student engagement in line with the school's behavior policy. Deliver learning materials provided by subject teachers, ensuring students complete tasks efficiently. Take electronic class registers accurately and manage classroom resources effectively. Act as a positive role model, creating a safe and encouraging environment for learning. Requirements Experience: Previous experience working with children or young people aged 11–16 (e.g., in schools, youth work, tutoring, or sports coaching). Education: Degree or Level 3 qualification preferred, with strong literacy and numeracy skills. Skills: Excellent communication, strong classroom presence, and high adaptability across various academic departments. Safeguarding: An Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (or readiness to undergo a full DBS application).
