Drivers Today are recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 / CE Driversfor a busy established transport operation in Stoke-on-Trent.

The Job

Youll be carrying out HGV Class 1 general haulage deliveries and collections driving articulated vehicles on local regional and longer-distance routes.

Your duties will include:

• HGV Class 1 / Category CE driving

• General haulage deliveries and collections

• Curtain-sided trailers

• Local regional and nationwide routes as required

• Regular 06:00 starts

• Monday-to-Friday day shifts

• Completing delivery paperwork

• Daily vehicle and trailer checks

• Following drivers hours and tachograph regulations

Nights out available but NOT compulsory

What Were Looking For

Youll need:

• Valid HGV Class 1 / Category CE licence

• Driver CPC

• Digital Tachograph Card

• Previous Class 1 driving experience

• General haulage experience preferred

• Good knowledge of drivers hours and tachograph regulations

• Reliable and professional attitude

• Good timekeeping and communication skills

Were looking for dependable drivers who want to become a regular part of the operation.

If youre happy to do the occasional night out there are opportunities available.

If youd rather be home every evening thats fine too nights out are not compulsory.
