Court of Protection Solicitor / Legal Executive - Cambridgeshire

A respected firm in Cambridgeshire is seeking a talented Court of Protection Solicitor / Legal Executive to join its growing team. The Role

You will manage a diverse Court of Protection caseload, including:

  • Deputyship applications and ongoing deputyship matters

  • Property and financial affairs for clients who lack mental capacity

  • Managing client assets, investments, and financial arrangements

  • Preparing and submitting applications to the Court of Protection

  • Advising clients, families, and professional deputies on relevant matters

  • Liaising with the Office of the Public Guardian and other relevant organisations

  • Ensuring compliance with Court of Protection procedures and statutory requirements

About You

  • Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with experience in Court of Protection work (PQE levels flexible as a guide)

  • Strong technical knowledge of mental capacity legislation and Court of Protection procedures

  • Excellent client care and communication abilities

  • Ability to manage a busy and varied caseload

  • Compassionate, organised, and proactive, with a genuine interest in supporting vulnerable clients

  • Ambitious and keen to develop your career within a specialist legal team
