\nPuro Accountancy is excited to assist an Accountancy firm in the Burnley area in their search for a full-time permanent Semi-Senior Accountant to integrate into their warm and established team of accounting professionals.\n
\n
\nCandidates who are AAT qualified or possess equivalent experience (QBE) are encouraged to apply. Additionally, our client offers support for further studies such as ACCA/ACA for those seeking to advance their qualifications.\n

\n
Responsibilities of the Semi Senior Accountant will encompass:\n
\n

\n
• Prepare end of year accounts for sole-traders, limited businesses and partnerships
\n
• Prepare self-assessment tax returns
\n
• Complete VAT returns
\n
• Tax computations
\n
• Manage client relationships
\n

\n
To be eligible for the Semi Senior Accountant position, you should possess:\n
\n

\n
• UK practice experience is essential
\n
• Ideally AAT Level 4 qualification or equivalent through experience (QBE)
\n
• Proficiency in Excel, Xero, Sage, Accounting, and Taxation software
\n
• Strong communication skills, comfortable engaging with clients and colleagues at all levels
\n
