Location: Derbyshire
Hours: Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

We're working with an established, internationally recognised packaging and prepress specialist looking to appoint a technically minded individual to support operations at a flexible packaging manufacturing site in Derbyshire.

\n

This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in flexographic printing, packaging reprographics, prepress or technical services who enjoys problem-solving, working closely with production teams and taking ownership of technical projects.

\n

You don't necessarily need previous Repro Management experience. We're equally interested in experienced Flexographic Printers, Print Supervisors and technically strong Client Services professionals looking for their next challenge.

\n

The Role

\n

Acting as the key technical link between the manufacturing operation and specialist reprographics teams, you'll help coordinate artwork, repro, proofing, and plate production from initial brief through to press-ready output.

\n

Key responsibilities include:

\n

\n
• Coordinating packaging artwork, reprographics, proofing, and flexographic plate production.
\n
• Reviewing technical briefs and resolving artwork or print-related queries.
\n
• Working closely with production, studio, and client services teams.
\n
• Providing technical support on flexographic printing and print feasibility.
\n
• Managing project timelines, priorities, and service standards.
\n
• Supporting press trials, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
\n
• Building strong relationships with key stakeholders on site.
\n

About You

\n

We're keen to hear from candidates with experience gained within flexible packaging within:

\n
• Flexographic Printing / Print Supervision
\n
• Packaging Reprographics / Prepress
\n
• Technical Client Services / Account Management
\n
• Packaging Print Production / Technical Coordination
\n

\n

You'll need a good technical understanding of packaging print processes, strong communication and organisational skills, and a proactive, hands-on approach.

\n

Previous management experience isn't essential. Technical knowledge, problem-solving ability, and confidence working with production teams in a flexible packaging environment are what matter most.

\n
