Associate Electrical Design Engineer

Associate Electrical Engineer – Building Services Consultancy – Winchester (Hybrid) Billy Associates is working with a well-established building services consultancy in Hampshire. They are looking for an experienced senior specialist to lead their electrical discipline. This is a senior role in the Partnership. You will run your own schemes from feasibility through to handover, manage a small team and help win new work. The partners plan to hand you a large share of responsibility for this side of the practice. The Role * Take first-line responsibility for the electrical services on your jobs * Carry out site and condition surveys, feasibility studies and reports * Produce tender-ready schemes, specifications, calculations and budget costings * Review tender returns and contractors’ working drawings * Answer site queries, attend progress meetings and monitor workmanship * Witness testing and commissioning, and prepare snagging lists * Help agree interim valuations and final accounts * Manage fees and budgets so jobs stay profitable * Supervise, mentor and develop junior staff * Represent the practice with clients and actively bring in new business About You * Degree or HNC/HND in a relevant discipline * Strong UK consultancy background in power, lighting and LV systems for buildings * Experience taking schemes from survey through construction to completion...
