Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for a talented computing teacher to join a successful secondary academy in south Oldham.

This is a full-time temporary supply teaching role from November 2026 on an ongoing long term supply basis.

The Role

Teacher of Computing

Five days a week across Keys stage three and four.

In years 7, 8 and 9 all students have 1 lesson of Computing per week.

In years 10 and 11 all students have 3 lessons of Computer Science / ICT / Enterprise and Marketing per week.

Qualifications delivered by the ICT department:

• GCSE (9-1) OCR Level 1/2 Computer Science
• OCR Level 1 / 2 Cambridge National Certificate in Enterprise and Marketing
• OCR Creative iMedia

Positive confident behaviour management skills

Innovative teacher able to adapt lessons to the changing needs of students

The academy are interested in hearing from Early Career Teachers and experienced QTS teachers and FE qualified teachers with recent experience of teaching students aged 11 to 16 years old.
