Moving into your first home is a big step at any age. For the young people at Pathways, it often follows family breakdown or homelessness. What they need next is someone in their corner who believes they can make it work.

Pathways is our supported housing service in central Bath for young people with medium to high support needs. They stay with us for up to two years, in a mix of bedsit flats and rooms in shared houses. The aim is to get them ready for a home of their own.

As our Young Persons Support Worker, you'll work one to one with a small caseload, shaping support around what each person wants help with. That might mean managing money, keeping on top of their tenancy or looking after their wellbeing. When they're ready, you'll help them plan their move and settle into their next home. Sessions don't have to happen in an office. A walk or a coffee can work just as well.

The role is 15 hours a week over two days, based on site at Pathways. It isn't suitable for hybrid or home working. You'll need to work on Wednesdays and we'll agree your second day with you based on the needs of the service. If you se...
