I’m recruiting for a Digital Press Operator to join a digital print department in Dagenham. You’ll produce high-quality work to job specifications, keep presses running efficiently and help maintain a clean, well-organised press room.

The role
\n
You’ll operate digital presses, working accurately and independently to meet production requirements. You’ll also support the wider team with the day-to-day running of the department and help reduce waste, reprints and downtime.
\n
Your responsibilities will include:
\n
- \n
- Operating digital presses to job specifications and quality standards \n
- Working with HP Indigo Series 4 and Ricoh Pro 9210 and 9500 presses \n
- Monitoring print quality, recording reprints and reporting issues \n
- Helping maintain press uptime and completing maintenance reports \n
- Keeping presses and the press room clean and in good working order \n
- Supporting the Digital Press Manager and Senior Digital Press Operators \n
- Contributing to continuous improvement and Lean working practices \n
- Following health and safety, quality, environmental and information security procedures \n

Shifts
\n
Rotating Double Days, Mon – Fri 06:00 – 13:30 & 13:30 – 21:00 (occasional night shifts during busy periods, a shift allowance will be included).

Salary
\n
Up to £30K
\n
\n
What we’re looking for
\n
You’ll be comfortable working autonomously in a busy production environment, with a strong eye for detail and a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work. Knowledge of the specified press technology is important, along with a flexible approach to supporting the team when production demands require it.
